The West Yorkshire Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) is the destination management body for Leeds, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. It works with local authorities, businesses and cultural organisations to grow the region’s visitor economy and promote West Yorkshire to domestic and international audiences.

The partnership coordinates destination marketing, supports local tourism businesses and helps ensure the region’s visitor offer is well presented and easy to find. Visitor information is published through the Explore West Yorkshire website.

Our board is made up of local business leaders, sector professionals, and local politicians. The chair of the LVEP board is The Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin, who leads the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
